Martin Thompson: Martin is the Director of National Accounts at IBS, working primarily with management companies and multi-course operators. Martin began his professional career as a teaching instructor and proshop manager at The Country Club of Darien in Connecticut. Shortly thereafter, he turned to the more technical aspects of golf management, becoming an Installation Technician and Trainer for Diamond Management Systems and serving as Director of System Operations with Family Golf Centers. Prior to joining IBS, Martin worked as the Technical Services and Support Manager for American Golf Corporation. At IBS, Martin served as the Director of Customer Support and Marketing, leading the Customer Support team through an organizational restructuring, improving efficiency and significantly reducing customer wait times. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Richmond and an Associate's degree in Golf Operations and Management from San Diego Golf Academy.
